End-of-life planning isn’t just for the end of life.

It’s for anyone who wants to live with greater intention.

A death doula is a trained, non-medical companion who supports individuals and families through the end-of-life journey — offering emotional, spiritual, and practical guidance before, during, and after death. Just as a birth doula helps ease the transition into life, a death doula helps ease the transition out of it, filling the gap that often exists between medical care and emotional support. Many people facing death, or caring for someone who is, feel overwhelmed, unprepared, and alone — unsure how to talk about what's happening, plan for it, or find meaning in it. A death doula solves this by offering steady, compassionate presence and practical tools, so individuals and families can move through the experience with more clarity, less fear, and a greater sense of peace.

What is a death DOula?

Our session will be:

  • Personalized

Our initial sessions will be dedicated to assessing your current wellness and creating a personalized plan to fit your unique needs and goals.

  • Targeted

Everyone carries different concerns when preparing for end of life — emotional, spiritual, or logistical. In this focused session, I'll help you identify what matters most to you right now and work through it together, so you feel more supported and less alone in the process.

  • Integrative

Preparing for end of life is more than logistics and legal documents. I'll help you integrate other supportive practices — mindfulness, calming rituals, legacy work, and more — so the experience feels whole.

You don’t have to be nearing the end of life to contemplate impermanence.
